Rapid Orthopaedic Consult (ROC) app for iPhone and iPad

The Rapid Orthopaedic Consult (ROC) is a mobile application designed to streamline patient care and improve health care efficiency. The application helps general practitioners, urgent care centers, and emergency departments obtain real-time orthopaedic surgery consultations.

The user will be asked for the patients age, gender, injury information, and clinical pictures/x-rays which can be taken directly from the mobile device. No patient identifying information will be requested or transferred. Once the consultation request is submitted, an on-call orthopaedic surgeon at a level 1 trauma center will review the ROC and contact the clinician with the recommended management plan.
